What is the difference between acrylic stands and ordinary plastic stands?

Acrylic (PMMA) has over 92% light transmittance, much higher than ordinary PS or PVC. It is UV-resistant and resists yellowing. Acrylic stands have high surface hardness, resist scratches, and can be laser-polished for a glass-like finish. Ordinary plastic stands deform easily, have poor transparency, and become brittle or foggy over time. Acrylic stands are ideal for premium displays and collectibles.
